CBP Finalizes Definition of Importer for ISF Filings

CBP will expand its definition of "importer" under Importer Security Filing (ISF) regulations.
This final rule adopts a proposed amendment to expand the definition of an Importer Security Filing (ISF) Importer, the party that is responsible for filing the ISF, for certain types of shipments. This rule is effective May 14, 2018.
